Position Summary

The Chief Program Officer is part of the senior management team that helps drive the overall strategy for the organization, as well as program and clinical leadership and management. The Chief Program Officer has overall responsibility for operations of all the agency programs, both clinical and non-clinical. They will support and manage a senior manager who has direct responsibilities for the day-to-day operations of non-clinical programming. This leader ensures all programs have quality services and outcomes using the most culturally competent, evidence-based practices for adults living with mental illness as well as for children, youth, young adults and their families who have experiencing toxic stress or are at risk for developing it.

Position Summary:

The Communications Specialist is responsible for development, management and implementation of a comprehensive communications program for the agency, including: development of an editorial calendar that will guide production and distribution of print and electronic newsletters, social media, an annual report, blog and media relations efforts. Communications efforts will include support of all agency programs, events and development efforts and align with strategic priorities as established by agency leadership. This new position is part of the foundation of our advancement efforts and is vital to both raising awareness and funds to support our mission.

Position Summary

The Grants Manager is part of the development team and is a liaison between MHA-EM and foundation partners. The Grant Managers is responsible for management and implementation of all aspects the agency’s efforts to pursue and secure funding through private, corporate, state and federal granting sources. This includes development and maintenance of a grants calendar tracking deadlines for LOIs, grant applications and reporting deadlines; writing and submitting all LOIs, grant applications and reports; working with agency leadership, program leaders and accounting service to create project budgets, timelines and appropriate outcomes for all granting activities. Leading research efforts for new grant prospects and opportunities that align with agency strategic priorities. This new position is part of the foundation of our advancement efforts and is vital to both raising awareness and the funds to support our mission.
